DDSC Coaches:
Four important items to pass along.
- COACHING SIGN-UPS: If you have not done so already, please complete your DDSC coaching sign-up here: http://deldayo.calnorthlive.com/home.php. All new and returning coaches must complete this form. DDSC will be providing ALL COACHES this year with an optional complimentary 1-hour training through Coerver Coaching. ALL HEAD COACHES also are eligible to receive $50 as a thank you upon completion of certain criteria (F-license, live-scan, etc.), and ALL NEW HEAD COACHES will receive an additional $45 credit at Extreme Soccer towards the purchase of equipment.
- F-LICENSE COURSE: As a reminder, completion of the F-License course is required for ALL COACHES (head coaches AND assistant coaches) except for first year coaches — although first-year coaches are welcome to take the course. The F-License course is required only once (you do not need to re-take it if you successfully completed it previously). The cost is $50, which is reimbursed to you after successful completion of the course. (At this time, DDSC will not be hosting its own F-License course this summer, so coaches need to find the most convenient location for sign up.)
- MANDATORY CONCUSSION TRAINING: This year, RCYSL is requiring all coaches (head coaches AND assistant coaches) to complete a short, on-line concussion training course. Please complete the on-line course here: https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html. Please send your certificate of completion to DelDayoSCRegistrar@gmail.com.
- REGULAR REGISTRATION FOR PLAYERS CLOSED 5/31. Please remind your families to make sure they’ve signed up for 2017 DDSC soccer. Sign-ups here: http://deldayo.calnorthlive.com/home.php. Late-registration closes on June 13.
