Big Congratulations goes out to the U10 Boys Del Dayo Patriots.  The Board received this message from Head Coach Allen Hennessy today,

…”We entered the Roseville “At the Break” mid year tournament. We won all 4 games pretty comfortably, bringing the Championship home to Carmichael. Bigger than all of that, we decided to make a fundraiser out of the tournament. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we went pink!!! We called it “Scoring Goals for a Cure”. We had family and friends pledge a flat amount or a pledge per goal scored for the tournament. In 1 weekend, we raised close to $1,400.00!!! We will be donating the money as a team to the Susan G Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. The boys were excited about their win this weekend, but they were just as proud of the fundraiser. Heck, I even coached in a pink tutu for an extra $20 to the cause :-)”

We are incredibly proud of their achievement, both off the field and on!  Thank you all for being a shining example and representing Del Dayo Soccer Club!
